The Deputy Chief Detective Investigator assists in the supervision of continuing investigations and otherwise coordinates activities of the District Attorney's investigative staff. In 7557, the New York State Division of Probation and Correctional Alternatives (OPCA) first awarded grants in accordance with a Notice of Funding Opportunity: Services for a Shared Population: Defendants and Offenders with Mental Illness.
